Pressotherapy

Detox. Relax. Heal.

soothing squeeze

Pressotherapy compression suit, is a non-invasive lymphatic drainage massage treatment that stimulates healthy functioning of the lymphatic system, clearing away toxins, and easing pain.

What to Expect

Pressotherapy, uses an air pressure machine to inflate a suit that squeezes your arms, legs, or abdomen in a rhythmic motion, similar to a massage. As pressure is applied to your body – alternating between compression and decompression – it releases aches and pains, while detoxifying the body.

You do not need to remove your clothes. The technician will help you get into the garment (which looks sort of like an astronaut’s space suit). The garment has tubes on it that are hooked up to a computerized air pressure machine. The garment will inflate with air and you will feel a squeezing sensation that should feel like pressure, not pain.

A typical session will last for 30 to 45 minutes. Your body may feel light afterward, and some people feel they have to urinate right away, which could be due to the movement of water in the body. You can get Pressotherapy done as often as twice a week.

BENEFITS OF PRESSOTHERAPY

Pressotherapy effectively reduces swelling by promoting fluid movement. This gentle compression technique helps drain excess fluids, reducing puffiness and edema, especially in limbs. A great choice for those seeking relief from swelling-related discomfort.

By enhancing lymphatic and venous circulation, pressotherapy aids in detoxifying the body. This treatment stimulates the natural flow, helping to clear toxins and reduce the risk of lymphedema, making it vital for maintaining good health.

Pressotherapy isn’t just for relaxation; it also helps in muscle toning. The treatment’s compression and release action works like a gentle workout, helping to firm and tone the muscles subtly, making it a perfect complement to your fitness regime.

This therapy is excellent for easing muscle tension. The rhythmic compression helps relax tight muscles, relieving stiffness and soreness. It’s like a gentle massage that soothes and loosens up tense areas, ideal for post-workout recovery or stress relief.

Regular pressotherapy sessions can give your immune system a boost. By improving lymphatic flow, it helps the body get rid of toxins and waste more efficiently, strengthening your immunity and enhancing your body’s natural defense mechanisms.

The pressure applied during treatment helps alleviate pain by reducing inflammation and promoting endorphin release. It’s particularly beneficial for chronic pain sufferers looking for a non-invasive relief method.

Each of these wavelengths has different health benefits with our industry leading Clearlight saunas covering the full spectrum without any of the high EMF’s associated with other saunas. Red Light Therapy delivers low energy wavelengths of light that stimulate our bodies production of ATP (AdenosineTriphosphate) which boosts cellular regeneration. This process, known as Photobiomodulation, has been extensively researched and shown to add measurable energy to the mitochondria of your cells. This results in numerous health benefits for the body including reduced inflammation, skin rejuvenation, faster wound healing as well as relief from chronic and acute pain, faster muscle recovery and more.

We clean and sanitize all touch points of the room between every client. Our Cold Plunge tank water is tested daily and kept between 40-100 ppm of peroxide that when combined with the UV light, 5 micron filtration and ozone make an experience that you can truly relax into.

High body temperatures can increase the risk of complications or birth defects so it is best to avoid the sauna during pregnancy. But you can definitely use the Cold Plunge.

It’s a good idea to hydrate beforehand. We recommend drinking 12-20 oz of water 30-60 minutes before your appointment. It’s best to avoid heavy meals or alcohol before your session but a light snack is fine.
