FIRE & ICE

Restore. Heal. Invigorate.

Double the benefits

Get all the benefits from detoxing and relaxing in the infrared sauna to lowering inflammation and boosting immunity in the cold plunge. Two separate therapies, combined, into one exhilarating treatment to stimulate overall wellness.

What to Expect

Welcome to the the deep, penetrating heat of infrared sauna and the invigorating chill of a cold plunge.

The therapy helps to increase circulation, detoxify the body, and relax muscles, while the other aids in reducing inflammation, tightening skin, and boosting the immune response. Alternating between these two extremes can accelerate recovery, reduce muscle pain, and rejuvenate the body. And the built-in red light is the added benefit to treat skin issues and boost collagen production.

You will have a Fire & Ice private room for 45 minutes where you can interchangeably go from an infrared sauna to a cold plunge tub. We recommend you start with the sauna to relax and sweat it out. Then jump into the cold plunge (30 seconds – 2.5 minutes is optimal) causing your body to further increase its heart rate, constricting blood vessels, and inducing an incredible rush of adrenaline and endorphins. Alternate between the two for the duration of your session

BENEFITS OF FIRE & ICE

The heat from the infrared sauna expands blood vessels, improving blood flow, while the cold plunge constricts them, promoting circulation as the body alternates between the two extremes. Your body is getting a cardiovascular workout while flushing out metabolic waste in the process.

Infrared saunas penetrate the skin deeper than traditional saunas, aiding in the removal of toxins through sweat, while the combination with red light can boost cellular rejuvenation.

The cold plunge reduces muscle inflammation and soreness, allowing for faster recovery, while the warmth of the infrared sauna with red light supports muscle relaxation and repair.

Red light therapy can stimulate collagen production, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and improving skin elasticity, while the alternating temperatures of the therapy can tighten and tone the skin.

The rapid shift from hot to cold exposure kick-starts the body’s natural healing mechanisms, forcing it to reduce lactic acid buildup in muscles and stimulate white blood cell production, while strengthening the immune system.

Exposure to the infrared sauna’s warmth can release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators, while the cold plunge can lead to a rush of adrenaline, providing an invigorating feeling and reducing symptoms of depression.

The heat from the infrared sauna can stimulate lymph movement, while the cold plunge can aid in contracting lymph vessels, enhancing the overall efficacy of the lymphatic system in waste removal.

The combined effects of infrared, red light, and cold plunge can offer significant pain relief, especially for those suffering from chronic pain, by reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and promoting healing at a cellular level.

Fire & Ice FAQs

Infrared light is part of the invisible light spectrum emitted by the sun and penetrates our body at varying levels based on the length of waves of light. We feel this as warmth. Scientists have established that these infrared waves are beneficial to the human body without any of the harmful UV waves of sunlight. Each of these wavelengths has different health benefits with our industry leading Clearlight saunas covering the full spectrum without any of the high EMF’s associated with other saunas. Read more about the benefits and research Clearlight Full Spectrum Infrared Saunas have done on sauna use.

Red Light Therapy delivers low energy wavelengths of light that stimulate our bodies production of ATP (AdenosineTriphosphate) which boosts cellular regeneration. This process, known as Photobiomodulation, has been extensively researched and shown to add measurable energy to the mitochondria of your cells. This results in numerous health benefits for the body including reduced inflammation, skin rejuvenation, faster wound healing as well as relief from chronic and acute pain, faster muscle recovery and more.

We clean and sanitize all touch points of the room between every client. Our Cold Plunge tank water is tested daily and kept between 40-100 ppm of peroxide that when combined with the UV light, 5 micron filtration and ozone make an experience that you can truly relax into.

High body temperatures can increase the risk of complications or birth defects so it is best to avoid the sauna during pregnancy. But you can definitely use the Cold Plunge.

It’s a good idea to hydrate beforehand. We recommend drinking 12-20 oz of water 30-60 minutes before your appointment. It’s best to avoid heavy meals or alcohol before your session but a light snack is fine.

We provide all the amenities you will need. Towels, slippers, robe, shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. You are welcome to bring a hairbrush or anything else you feel you might need.
