Float therapy is a method of deep relaxation that occurs in a pod of warm epsom salt water. For an hour, the outside world is gone, and your mind is able to unwind and flow freely without distraction. Your brain pumps out dopamine and endorphins, and your body gets to restore and heal.
Float therapy, also known as sensory deprivation therapy, is deeply relaxing experience where you float in a tank filled with warm water and Epsom salts. This creates a sensation of weightlessness, providing profound physical and mental relaxation by blocking out external light and sound, allowing your mind to enter a deep meditative state.
This temporary escape from gravity, gives your body the chance to recharge. Your only obligation is to relax, and do nothing for a while. In our daily lives, we move at a relentless pace, never stopping. Floating allows you to disconnect and indulge in an hour-long sensory retreat where distractions fade away, leaving you undisturbed by light, sound, or physical sensations.
Float therapy can reduce stress, anxiety, and chronic pain, while with improving sleep quality and enhancing mental clarity, promoting overall well-being and mental rejuvenation. This combination of physical and mental relaxation makes float therapy a powerful tool for achieving holistic health.
You will float is a large Float pod filled with 10″ of water and 1,100 lbs of Epsom salt. This buoyant solution will gently support you as you float on your back. The water is kept at skin temperature, ~94.5 degrees, which means you lose track of where your body ends and the water begins.
After you close the lid of the pod (if you choose to do so), you simply float. The lights and music will fade out, easing you into the remainder of your float experience.
You are in complete control of your float. You decide if you want the light on or off. You determine how long the music plays. You control whether you want the canopy door open, closed or somewhere in between.
Floating once a month can be a solid foundation for a self-care routine, providing a much-needed body reset. It’s great for those with minimal pain and an active lifestyle.
Floating twice a month offers an energy boost, spinal alignment, and immune support by aiding rest. It’s ideal for those who sit for long periods, helping to decrease inflammation, reduce pain, and alleviate moderate chronic pain and migraines. Take a look at our 2x/Month Float Membership.
Floating weekly can extend relief from chronic pain, enhance mental health, and boost performance. This is perfect for athletes, trainers, and anyone preparing for an event or competition. It can increase feelings of serenity, reduce anxiety and depression, and improve sleep quality. Check out the Weekly Float Membership.
The nti-gravity environment that takes pressure off joints and muscles, allowing the spine to decompress. This weightlessness boosts blood flow to damaged tissues, accelerating healing and reducing inflammation, which soothes chronic pain and tension.
Floating brings your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems back into balance, reducing restlessness. By replenishing your depleted magnesium levels, floating leads to deeper, more restorative sleep.
Floating is the ultimate life-saver for athletes - speeding up recovery and reducing muscle soreness. While detoxing extra lactic acid from your muscles, the zero-gravity environment lowers cortisol promoting relaxation, clears your head and calms your mind.
Floating reduces stress and anxiety by suppressing the fight-or-flight response. By calming this response, floating brings the body into a restful state, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This shift promotes a deep sense of relaxation, which allows the body to heal and recover.
Immune function is enhanced by suppressing stress hormones which not only weaken the immune system but also suppress the digestion and reproductive systems, affect regeneration processes, and decrease insulin sensitivities. Magnesium absorbed during a float reinforces your body’s defenses.
Floating helps you quickly reach theta state. Theta waves are creative, characterized by feelings of inspiration. It is believed that this mental state allows you to act below the level of the conscious mind, allowing you to ideate without hesitation.
We provide all the amenities you will need. Towels, slippers, robe, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, earplugs, ointment for scratches and water. You are welcome to bring a hairbrush or anything else you feel you might need.
You may wear a swimsuit or choose to float nude. The room is entirely private, so you are free to float in whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Yes, many pregnant women find Floating Therapy extremely therapeutic. It is known to reduce the risk of preeclampsia and allows you to connect with your baby. However, consult with your healthcare provider before your first float.
Our pods are incredibly spacious, measuring about 8’ in length and 6’ in width; you have complete control over the lighting, music and position of the canopy door. Also, the experience of sensory deprivation erases your perception of boundaries, making the space around you feel limitless.
Please consult with your healthcare provider if you have any medical conditions or concerns prior to booking a session.
The water is treated with a combination of filtration, UV sterilization, and disinfectants to ensure a hygienic environment.
Every room and pod are thoroughly sanitized before each use.
It’s safe to fall asleep. The saltwater will keep you buoyant, and the controlled environment ensures safety.
It’s best to avoid heavy meals or alcohol before your session but a light snack is fine.
Generally, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and individual policies may vary.
Frequency varies by individual goals and preferences. Some float weekly, while others do it monthly.
It’s recommended to remove contact lenses to avoid irritation from the saltwater.
We recommend avoiding shaving 2 hours before your float. Stinging from salt water will fade within minutes but it would be distracting to your experience.
If your hair color is permanent and done more than 10 days ago, you should be good to float. If your hair color is semi-permanent, or is blue or red (these tend to come out and stain the pod), then you can’t float, unless it has been several weeks since getting your hair colored and you are 100% sure that color is no longer running in the shower.

The spa was clean and quiet, and using the float chamber was very straightforward. 60 minutes later my mind and body were very relaxed. It was a very nice complement to my meditation practice, and I was pleasantly surprised how much it alleviated some muscle soreness I was experiencing from jiu jitsu training. Natasha was very kind and walked me through some of the other services offered at the spa. Look forward to returning and trying more treatments, particularly Fire and Ice. Read more

The setup of Solivana is both relaxing and rejuvenating. I love coming to float whenever I am struggling with physical pain or just need a breather away from everyday life. The entire spa's equipment and set up with the different rooms (i.e. sensory deprivation tanks, infrared sauna & cold plunge, halotherapy salt room, etc.) is high quality and well worth the money. I have floated before, but SoliVana has done upgrades and improvements over the past float business. I went in on Friday, worn out from a long week. I first sat in the sauna and tried the infra-red therapy and then moved on to a float pod. I left an entirely new person. Relaxed, happy, at peace and best of all - the knee that's been bothering me for over a month is almost completely pain free. A beautiful spot, definitely give them a try. Your body and mind will thank you for it! Read more
After just one session of Floating Therapy, I felt as if a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. For the first time in months, I slept like a baby and the next day, I was able to handle my stressor much better. What an amazing experience! Definitely coming back.
I recently had a chance to try out a floating session at the newly opened SoliVana Spa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and restorative experience. The space is meticulously clean (which is a must for me), and the entire experience is well thought through and organized.
What an experience!! It was my first time using a floating pod. The feeling was amazing.I floated on my back and on the stomach too. Didn't want to get out. After I felt so light, skin so soft. The spa design is very welcoming. Definitely coming back as a regular customer.
I have chronic anxiety, and nothing ever worked for me until Floating Therapy. The benefits I've reaped from my sessions have been invaluable. I finally felt at ease. And I wholeheartedly recommend this oasis to anyone seeking a true respite from issues similar to mine.
