Activated charcoal is sometimes promoted as a sauna companion. Solivana does not recommend taking it to increase sweating, remove toxins or improve a sauna session. Those wellness claims are not a reason to use it.
Activated charcoal is used in selected poisoning cases under medical supervision. It can interfere with medicines and carries risks. Do not use it to treat suspected poisoning yourself; contact Poison Control or emergency services.
Making Time for the Experience
If you are considering activated charcoal, ask a qualified healthcare professional or pharmacist about your specific medicines and health circumstances. Do not stop prescribed treatment or assume a supplement is safe because it is sold without a prescription.
Choose your session with the studio’s preparation and precautions in mind. Heat and cold are not suitable for everyone. Speak with your clinician before booking if you have relevant medical concerns. Solivana’s infrared sauna heats up to 150°F; the Fire & Ice experience includes a cold plunge.
