What it is
A float is an hour lying on warm water so dense with Epsom salt that your body stays on the surface without any effort. You don't swim, don't hold yourself up, don't balance.
The water sits at skin temperature, so after a few minutes you stop noticing where your body ends and the water begins. Turn the light and music off and touch, sound and sight quietly drop away.
It is the closest thing to a holiday from your own body that you can book on a Tuesday.
Why people love it
Most first-timers describe the same moment: the shoulders drop, the jaw unclenches, and the noise of the day goes quiet. Nothing is asked of you — no talking, no posture, no phone.
Guests who come back say the second float is better than the first, because the novelty stops eating the hour.
Small studies of flotation-REST report people feeling less stressed and better in mood afterwards, which is roughly what our guests say they come back for.

Who should check first
Ask before booking if you have open wounds, a skin condition, epilepsy or kidney disease. Floaters must be at least 14 years old, and guests under 18 need a parent or guardian present. We can't book anyone in their first trimester for any experience. Later in pregnancy, check with your OB/GYN or midwife before booking.
