Three guests in Solivana robes standing in front of a red-lit infrared sauna

Six people, two hours, and the building arranged around one night. You open in warm salt air with everyone in the same room, talking. You finish in the sauna and the cold with nothing held back.

The order is the point. Salt and light first, while everyone is still arriving in their heads. Heat and cold last, so the evening ends on the part they are still talking about on the way to dinner.

The evening

Two unhurried hours

Gentle first, warm last. No one sits out, and no one waits for a turn.

0:00 — Arrival. Warm tea, soft robes, and a few unhurried minutes to settle in. Nothing to sign and nowhere to wait. We take care of the arrangements long before you walk through the door.

0:10 — The salt room. Thirty minutes in the amber glow of the Himalayan salt room, all six of you together. The air is warm and faintly mineral, and remarkably easy to breathe. This is where the evening finds its rhythm and the conversation begins.

0:40 — NeuroVIZR. Without anyone leaving the room, the lights come down and the units come on. Thirty minutes of guided light and sound, everyone drifting through the same programme together. It is the quietest part of the night.

1:10 — Fire & Ice. Then the heat. Four of you in the large suite, two in the small, both yours alone for a full hour. Dry warmth, deep breathing, and the cold plunge waiting whenever you are ready for it — or not at all, entirely as you please.

2:10 — An unhurried finish. Cool water, warm robes, and as long as you would like to linger.

What is included

Four things to know

Three experiences, in the order that works. Salt, light, then fire. We begin gently, while the week is still letting go of everyone, and end in the heat, so the evening stays with you long after you have left.

One gentle move, all evening. The salt room and NeuroVIZR share the same space, so you settle in once and stay put. A single unhurried walk to the suites is the only time anyone gets up.

The rooms are yours entirely. The salt room and both contrast suites are held for your party alone. No other guests, no shared benches, no one you did not arrive with.

Everything but the swimsuit. Robes, towels, sandals and water are laid out for you. The sauna and the plunge are brought to temperature before you arrive, and someone is quietly on hand throughout.

What people book it for

Made for the evenings worth marking

  • A birthday where dinner becomes the afterparty
  • A bridal party that would rather glow than drink
  • Five or six colleagues at the end of a season worth marking
  • A milestone to celebrate properly: a fortieth, a closing, a last day
  • Friends in from out of town, and one evening to give them something they cannot find at home

A smaller party of two to four is welcome to book a Fire & Ice suite from the regular menu. For something longer and deeper, there is the Half-Day Reset; for larger groups, a Full Buyout.

Questions

Why does this start at five people?

Because below five, one room does it. Two, three or four people share a Fire & Ice suite, which is on the regular menu. At five the group no longer fits in a single room, so the night gets built across three.

Why does it stop at six?

The two contrast suites hold four and two. That is six people during the Fire & Ice hour and there is no seventh spot — that is simply the size of the building. Seven or more people means a Full Buyout, which opens the float tanks and the therapy room as well.

Is it cheaper for five than for six?

No, and that is deliberate. We hold the same three rooms either way, so the price is flat at $1,150 for five or six. If you are at five and someone is on the fence, bring them. The sixth person is free.

How is this different from the Half-Day Reset?

Length and depth. The Half-Day Reset is three and a half hours, runs through every room including the float tanks and the therapy room, and is priced per person for groups of up to ten. This is two hours, three experiences, and a third of the cost. One is a reset. This one is a celebration that happens to be good for you.

What if someone in the group will not do the cold?

Then they do not. The sauna is the whole hour if they want it to be, and the salt room and NeuroVIZR ask nothing of anyone at all. Nobody has to plunge for the night to work.

Can we bring food, a cake, drinks?

A cake and something lovely to drink, gladly. Tell us and we will have it waiting for the last part of the evening. Alcohol we cannot accommodate in any form. Solivana is an alcohol-free centre, for every booking and every hour we are open.

What do we wear?

Swimwear under whatever you arrive in. We provide robes, towels, sandals and water.

How far ahead should we book?

Weekend evenings are the first to go, so give us as much notice as you can. Send the request below and we will tell you honestly what is open.

How do we pay?

A deposit holds the date and the balance is due on arrival. Send the request below and we will come back with times and the deposit amount.
